Grade 6 Soccer Rule Modifications Halves are 20 minute running time, with a five-minute half time. Goalies should be identified with a different coloured jersey i.e. pinnies. For the girls, players are allowed to protect their chest without a hand call, as long as no attempt is made to direct the ball. A dangerous kick is called at the discretion of the referee. Unlimited substitutions are allowed during any stoppage in play. On a corner kick, players are allowed to place the ball anywhere within the one metre arc. A size 4 ball is used for both boys and girls competitions. The number of teams involved necessitates teams arriving in their uniforms with sweats, or other warm-up pants and tops. Individual change rooms are not available to teams. However washroom facilities are provided. Players are to wear moulded cleats only. Each school is responsible for practice balls. Please ensure they are identified with your school name. Teams should be in matching uniforms during play. T-shirts are acceptable.
