  1. Tournament Information
    1. Friday, September 16
    2. Monk land Park, Airdrie – ACTION: JM to confirm booking
    3. Time: 3:00 pm
    4. Host: Ralph McCall (Sue Long 948-7030)
    5. Bad weather: Call Jacquie’s cell at 816-6619. The host and sports coordinator will make the decision to cancel by 1:00 pm.
  1. Registration
    1. Declaration form was circulated.
    2. Deadline for declaring teams was extended to Friday, September 9 by 9:00 am.
    3. Categories: Boys, Girls, Mixed.
    4. Maximum of two teams in each category.

 

  1. Schedule
    1. Each team plays two or three games, depending on the number of participating teams.
    2. ACTION: JM to schedule games and send out schedule by email on Tuesday, September 13.
  1. Rules

Modifications are attached and can be found on the web.

  1. Referees
    1. ACTION: JM to call Allan Gallup (Bert Church) and Chelsey Sommerville (George McDougall) to recruit high school kids to work as referees.
    2. Need four referees with whistles.
    3. High school kids must have soccer knowledge and be able to call the off-side.
    4. If the kids are not using the time to fulfill their Phys. Ed. hours then the RVSA is to pay them a small amount.
    5. Another source for referees is the Barry Anderson from Airdrie Minor Soccer.

 

  1. Concession

There is no concession this year.

  1. Results and Awards
    1. Ribbons presented to all participants.
    2. ACTION: JM to send ribbons (20 per team) to SL for presentation at the end of the tournament.

 

  1. Code of Conduct
    1. ACTION: Coaches to ensure athletes, parents and coaches sign, and submit to their principal, Code of Conduct forms before the tournament game.
