High School Girls Soccer Pre-season Meeting Minutes

2. Commissioner
   Thank you to Jenn Munsie from George McDougall for continuing her duties as commissioner.
   
   
3. Schedule
   The schedule (double round robin with play-offs) is posted at: http://www.rockyviewsports.com/Soccer/girls/schedule.html.
   
   The South Central Zone has a girls soccer tournament date included in their hosting schedule - October 24-25 - but no host yet. Also to be determined is the number of berths Rocky View might get. Action: JM to get more details at SCZ Fall meeting on September 16.
   
   
4. Fields
   Action: JM to book fields and post on web.

   Chestermere - Chestermere High
   Note: Sep. 8 - I'm waiting on the Town of Cochrane and the City of Airdrie for field booking confirmation. If there's a problem with the bookings I'll let you know ASAP.
   
   
5. Game cancellation
   If a game is going to be called because of weather, we'll try and do it by 2:00 pm. If you are delayed because of weather please call the opposing coach. Here is the coaches' cell phone list:

6. Registration deadline
   Action: Coaches are to submit rosters via email by Friday, September 12. You can use the Soccer Score Sheet to send in rosters or just put it in a Word or Excel file.
   
   
7. Officials
   Action: JM to book officials. Names of people appreciated. Rob Kimura suggested contacting the Cochrane Rangers.
   Reminder: Home schools are to provide and train two linespeople.
   
   
8. Results
   Coaches can dowload a Soccer Score Sheet here. Action: Coaches are to email score to Jacquie and fax scoresheets to 945-4011. Note new fax number.
   
   
9. Awards
   Rocky View Schools covers the cost of first, second and third place medallions, a banner, and a trophy.
   
   
10. League Fees
    $320 per school - no change from last year.
    
    
11. Code of Conduct
    Action: Players and coaches are to sign Code of Conduct forms and submit to school administrator. This is to be done before your first game.
    
    
12. Out-of-pocket expenses
    Download an Extra-Curricular Expense Form here. Just a reminder that you can claim mileage to and from meetings and that RVS policy states that expense claims should be submitted no later than one month after the activity season has ended.
