Football Post-season Meeting Minutes

2. Commissioner
   Thanks to Brian Utley for acting as commissioner this season.
   
   
3. 2010-11 Season Review
   Officials - Late-season schedule change (due to CFOA not being able to cover a day) was difficult for coaches.
   Physiotherapy - Coverage was okay this year.
   Results - Thank you to Verne Friesen for doing stats.
   Fields - Action: JM to book change rooms with the City of Airdrie when booking East Lake Field.
   
   
4. 2010-11 Awards Banquet
   Date: Tuesday, December 7, 2010
   6:30 pm
   Bert Church
   Cost: $17
   Guest speaker: Action: Coaches are to email ideas to Andy Kir.
   Action: Coaches are to email numbers to Andy by Wednesday, December 1.
   Action: Coaches are asked to bring to the banquet: cheques, helmet, kids in jerseys.
   Action: JM to design and print program. Update: Centrepieces may not be available as they are in use the previous evening at the volleyball banquet (and Jacquie's car isn't big enough to fit all the bins.)
   
   
5. Trophies
   JM was wondering what trophies we have. Cochrane believes they have the Tier 3 trophy. Action: Coaches are to check trophy cases for a tier 2 trophy.
   
   
6. 2011-12 Season
   Bow Valley is declaring Tier 4 next year, which means we'll have four teams in Tier 2 and one each in Tiers 3 and 4. It was suggested that Cochrane and Bow Valley create an exhbition Cochrane Bowl game to fill up a weekend late in the season.
   
   Action: JM to work on a schedule mid-February for release the first of March.
